About Thai Moon
The Thai Moon Thai restaurant opened in Penzance on June 6, 2006, and continues to serve authentic Thai food to locals and tourists throughout the year.
The Thai restaurant is run by husband and wife team Irvine and Saowalak Moon. Irvine is a local, born and bred in Long Rock, a village just outside of Penzance. His wife Saowalak (Aoy for Short) is from Pang Khone, Thailand, 550 miles north east of Bangkok on the Mekon river border with Laos.
Aoy is the chef and Irvine takes care of front of house. They were married in Thailand in March 2003.
The restaurant is child friendly and the use of a high chair is available.
